Pomegranate & Cider/Pumpkin Pralines

Today I have two scent reviews, as one scent did not really settle with our noses.  First up, we have Pomegranate & Cider.  The description of this scent is juicy pomegranates combined with the fullness of a sweet rich cider.
We have found that we are not huge fans of CBV's cider scents.  That being said, I know that there are many CBVAUer's that love the cider scents.  I don't know what it is about them, but they just don't jive with our noses.  I am trying to think of how to explain it, but can't really put my finger on it.  I get a really strong spicy cider, but not bakery spicy... I guess more like mulled spices on the stove??  If you have tried the Pomegranate & Spiced Pear scent, this one is pretty similar IMO.

Next, we put Pumpkin Pralines on the melter.  OH-M-GEE!  This scent is heavenly!
I know see what Deb and many others have been raving about!  It is described as creamy rich pumpkin with a hint of spice mixed with Caramelized Pralines and a hint of caramel.  This sucker does not disappoint!  If you are looking for a pumpkin scent without a lot of spice, you need to try this one, as well as Pumpkin Pickin.  Pumpkin Pralines smells like a really creamy buttery pumpkin.  The spice is not really noticeable to me.  I really just want to lick the air!  :p  SO GOOD!  I think I will be getting this in a bowl candle next fall. :)

Poisoned Apple

It has been a while since I am posted.  The reason is that I got another job!  I am working as an office assistant for Greenleaf Forestry, a business that sells firewood and other wood products from blown down trees, trees from mitigation, etc. Now I have a full-time job and still pulling part-time at the apartment complex, plus still working on my Associate degree.  Can you say BUSY!?  But I am SO grateful!

The Candles by Victoria scent I am reviewing today is Poisoned Apple, which is described as tart green apples, brown sugar, bergamot, laced with licorice and vanilla bourbon.
I don't know if it is just because the color of the wax is red, but I get red apples, not green apples.  This is a really nice, crisp apple scent.  It reminds me of Wintery Candy Apple, but with darker notes.  The licorice is not really noticeable as licorice, so don't let that scare you off.  It just brings a depth to the scent.  Really nice!  I know a few people that have ordered this in a glitter candle with red and black glitter.... so pretty!

When I can, I will post about our Superbowl half-time order... another massive order!  Couldn't pass up a sale of 25% off!!  :)

Am I Baking?...

Nope!  If someone walked into the house tonight, they would think I just pulled a vanilla Funfetti cake out of oven.  Tonight we are melting Pink Cupcake.
Let me tell you, this is DEAD ON!  I was not sold on this one cold, but warmed up it is perfect!  I can see why so many people have made Create-A-Scents with this scent.  It is amazing on its own, no doubt, but if you want different flavors of cake, the possibilities are endless.  I really want to try this with Fudge Brownie for a Chocolate Cupcake scent.  :)  I think I will have sweet dreams tonight!
